Bradford City Under-19s came out on top in a thrilling 4-3 Youth Alliance Cup victory over Oldham Athletic. Forward Harry Ibbitson impressed, scoring all four of the Bantams’ goals in a roller-coaster clash with the Lancashire outfit – at the Horsfall Community Stadium.

HUGHES EXCITED FOR ALL-YORKSHIRE CLASH

Bantams manager Mark Hughes is looking forward to his side’s all-Yorkshire clash with Harrogate Town this Saturday.  Buoyed by an improved second-half performance which rescued a late point last time out against Grimsby, Hughes has called for his side to pick up where they left off.

NEWPORT TICKETS ON SALE

Tickets for the Bantams’ trip to Newport County this month are now ON SALE to supporters with 1,920 City Points or more. Mark Hughes’ men will visit Rodney Parade a week on Saturday (September 23), with action set to get underway from 3.00pm.

GILLIEAD PLEASED TO GET ON SCORESHEET

Alex Gilliead was pleased to have scored his first goal of the season on his return from injury, in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Grimsby Town at the University of Bradford Stadium.

HUGHES CONTENT WITH A POINT

Mark Hughes was content with a point, after his side battled back to secure a 1-1 draw at the University of Bradford Stadium this afternoon.  The Welshman was not pleased with City’s performance in the first half, as they saw Grimsby take a 1-0 lead into the break.

Mark Hughes has named three changes from the side that drew to Mansfield Town ahead of this afternoon’s lunchtime visit of Grimsby Town (12.30pm).  Bobby Pointon comes in to make his full City debut, with Matt Derbyshire also making his first start of the season.
